"Has detected a problem" when shutting down office applications
A few weeks ago i noticed that when i close OneNote 2007, the "detected a problem" process initiates which also restarts the program. This in practice mean that i can't close OneNote without forcing close of the process. Now this happens for all Office software
(not always, but often) and also a few third-party utilities like PasswordSafe. And now i can't even start OneNote, it loads forever but nothing happens. Maybe som important file was damaged because I always had to close it buy forcing close of the process.
It is also common that Dr Watson hangs in relation to this problem.
Have anyone experienced this? MS office diagnostics finds nothing.

Hi ,
After checking the issue, I suggest you could use command
sfc /scannow to check the result.
1.
Click on Start/All programs/Accessories then
2.
Right click on Command Prompt option and select 'Run as administrator'.
3.
At the command prompt enter: SFC /SCANNOW.
This will check and repair if necessary any critical Windows system files.
And I suggest you can check if this issue occurs
in Clean Boot.
If the issue still exists, create a new user account to test the result .
Hope it helps.
